Ma Yanyan has Bachelor’s degree from Qinghua University ,and she severs as Investment Director at Passion Impact Investment in Beijing, focusing on primary market equity investment and social innovation business consulting that combines business value and social value.

She has twelve years of practical experience in independent management in the public welfare industry, including complex project construction and management at organizations such as SEE Beijing Environmental Protection Foundation for Entrepreneurs SEE, One Foundation, Illness Challenge Foundation, CHINA-DOLLS Center For Rare Disorders, Growing Home Psychological support for children in distress, and Shan Shui Conservation Center(SSCC). She also a Initiator of the “Shared Bike Parking” Art Co-creation Public Welfare Project. In 2014, She was selected as a visiting scholar of IVLP the United States’ National Youth Leader

In April 2020,she jointly initiated the establishment of Passion Impact Investment, which actively engages in impact investment practices in the essential areas, such as education, environment, disability, elderly care, and cultural heritage, and has also developed an investment evaluation criterion based on the founders’ mission intention, project social value, and project business value. Together with other co-founders, she has already completed impact investments in social enterprises such as Rural Notes, Goodbuy Charity Shop, Field School, and ABC Better Consulting, while exploring and practicing impact management and assessment to cultivate the industry in a communal manner.
