Assistant Professor, Institute of Japanese Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)
Wang Zanwei joined the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2018 as an assistant professor in the Institute of Japanese Studies. Her scholarly work focuses on the history of earthquake disasters in China and Japan. Her current work continues to examine China’s ecological civilization construction and global climate change, biodiversity governance, and sustainable development policies. From 2014 to 2016, Zanwei studied at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo under the sponsorship of the Japan Foundation and the China Scholarship Council. Eyes on both history and reality, her research interest covers broad topics from climate to disasters with emphasis on China and Japan, in the hope of increasing collaboration between the two countries.

The Impact Climate Innovation Conference is an international platform for cooperation and exchange in the climate field, dedicated to connecting innovators, decision-makers and actors from different industries and multiple subjects, accelerating the green low-carbon transition and global emission reduction process through innovation and cross-border cooperation, and jointly building a sustainable future.
With the support of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province and Department of Commerce of Hainan Province, the conference has been listed as a “Hainan Provincial Exhibition Project” for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.
