Zhou Dadi is the Senior Researcher and Director General Emeritus of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission of China. His current professional positions include: member of the National Expert Advisory Committee on Climate Change, member of the National Expert Committee for the 14th Five Year Plan, the Vice Chairman of the Expert Committee for the 14th Five Year Energy Plan, the Academic Advisor and former Executive Vice President of Board of Directors of the Chinese Society of Energy Research, Counsellor of Beijing Government, etc. Prof. Zhou has devoted for long time on energy strategy and policy, climate change policy. Prof. Zhou is the main author of many influential reports and books. He was the LA of the WGIII of IPCC for the Second, Third Assessment Report, and CLA for the Fourth and Fifth Assessment Report.
